Please be informed about the situation along the Cambodia-Thailand border regarding the Thai military forces continuing their violation on Cambodian sovereign territory in the innocent civilian residences area, in the 5th Military Region, at the area of Poipet Municipality, Banteay Meanchey province, on December 22, 2025.
– At 8:59pm, the Thai military fired 2 flare guns into area in Phsar Kandal district, Poipet Municipality (Street 58), Banteay Meanchey province.
The Cambodian forces continue to monitor the situation closely, and stand strong, brave, and remain vigilant in fulfilling their roles to protect the territorial integrity of Cambodia. We will protect our dignity with courage and unwavering resolve, at any cost, and without succumbing to coercion or intimidation in any form.
